About

At Integratis Clinic, we offer adult counselling and psychotherapy in Tunbridge Wells for adults who are experiencing emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, periods of change, or a sense that something in life is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

Many people seek therapy when anxiety, stress or low mood begin to affect daily life. Others come because they find themselves repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling with self-confidence, feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities, or carrying experiences from the past that continue to shape how they feel in the present.

Sometimes the reason for seeking therapy is clear. At other times, people arrive with a general sense that they are not feeling like themselves, that life has become harder than it needs to be, or that they are spending a great deal of energy coping without fully understanding why.

Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to think more carefully about these experiences. Through developing a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships and the experiences that have shaped you, it can become easier to make sense of emotional difficulties and find new ways of responding to them.

We offer adult counselling and psychotherapy in Tunbridge Wells for adults across Kent and Sussex, with appointments available both in person and online.

Who can benefit from counselling and psychotherapy?

Adult psychotherapy can be helpful for a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, bereavement, loss of confidence and significant life changes.

You may notice that certain situations affect you more strongly than you would expect. You may find yourself worrying excessively, becoming highly self-critical, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling responsible for everyone around you. You may feel stuck in familiar relationship patterns or find it difficult to understand why particular experiences continue to have such a strong emotional impact.

Therapy can also be valuable during periods of transition. Changes in relationships, becoming a parent, career pressures, illness, loss, caring responsibilities and major life decisions can all bring challenges that benefit from time and space for reflection.

For many people, psychotherapy offers an opportunity to understand not only what is happening in the present, but also how earlier experiences may continue to influence their emotional wellbeing, relationships and sense of self.

Our Approach

We begin with an initial consultation to understand what has brought you to therapy, the difficulties you are experiencing, and what you would like support with.

Some people come to therapy during a particularly challenging period of life. Others have noticed patterns in their relationships, emotional wellbeing or day-to-day life that they would like to understand more fully. The consultation provides an opportunity to think together about these experiences and whether psychotherapy feels like the right next step.

Ongoing psychotherapy offers a regular time to reflect on your experiences with the support of a trained psychotherapist. As therapy develops, it can help bring greater understanding to longstanding patterns, emotional difficulties and relationship experiences, creating opportunities for meaningful and lasting change.

Our work is grounded in curiosity, reflection and careful attention to your experiences, both past and present. Through developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, it can become easier to navigate challenges, make sense of difficult emotions and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
