Adult & Parent Support
Specialist therapy and parent support to help you navigate life's challenges, strengthen relationships and support the wellbeing of your family.
When might support help?
Supporting a child or young person can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. You may be trying to understand your child's behaviour, navigate family changes or manage the impact of anxiety, neurodevelopmental differences or school-based difficulties. At the same time, you may be carrying your own worries, stress or emotional challenges.
At The Integratis Clinic, we provide specialist parent support alongside individual therapy for adults. Whether you are seeking guidance in supporting your child, looking for a space to reflect on your own experiences or navigating a significant life event, we tailor our approach to your individual needs.
Our approach
Whether you are seeking support as a parent or for yourself, therapy begins with understanding your individual experiences rather than focusing solely on the challenges you are facing today. Together, we explore the relationships, life experiences and circumstances that have shaped where you are now, helping to make sense of patterns that may feel confusing or overwhelming.
For parents, this often means developing a deeper understanding of your child's emotional world, strengthening your relationship and feeling more confident in responding to the challenges your family is facing. For adults, therapy provides the opportunity to reflect, process difficult experiences and develop healthier ways of coping with life's demands.
Every therapeutic relationship is tailored to your individual needs, recognising that meaningful change begins with understanding rather than judgement.
What to expect
We begin with a free 15-minute telephone consultation to understand what has brought you to us and answer any initial questions.
Following this, we will arrange an initial consultation to explore your current circumstances, understand what you hope to gain from therapy and discuss the most appropriate way forward. Together, we will agree a therapeutic plan tailored to your individual needs.
Throughout therapy, we regularly review progress to ensure support continues to meet your needs. If we feel additional support or an onward referral would be beneficial, we will discuss this with you and support you throughout the process.

Adult therapy can be helpful at any stage of life. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, parenting challenges, life transitions or simply feel that things have become more difficult to manage. Therapy also provides space to better understand long-standing patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing or relationships.

No. Parent support is available whether or not your child is attending therapy at The Integratis Clinic. Some parents are looking for guidance around behaviour, emotional regulation or neurodiversity, while others want support navigating family relationships, separation, school difficulties or the challenges of parenting. Sometimes, supporting the parent can be one of the most effective ways of supporting the child.

Therapy provides a confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences with the support of a specialist therapist. Together, we work to understand the factors contributing to the difficulties you are facing so that support can be tailored to your individual needs and lead to meaningful, lasting change.

There is no set number of sessions because every individual is different. Following the assessment, we will discuss our understanding of your needs and recommend the approach most likely to help. Some people benefit from shorter-term support, while others choose to continue with longer-term therapy.
-
Yes. Parents often benefit from having their own space to think about what is happening and how best to support their child. Parent sessions can provide practical strategies, emotional support and a greater understanding of your child's needs, even if they are not currently engaging in therapy themselves.
-
Yes. With your consent, we can work collaboratively with schools, GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians and other professionals involved in your or your child's care. This helps ensure a joined-up approach where appropriate.
